This book is a Biblical study of endurance and resilience of people who served God and finished strong. Endurance and resilience as defined in the Scripture are very different from those described in the behavioural sciences. The differences are important. The neurological input of body and brain to endurance and resilience is important to understand. The challenges and hindrances to ministry today are not essentially different in many respects to what the heroes of the faith experienced. There is much we can learn from them.
